Look Through Our Gallery Of Disabled Walk in Showers
Our consultation will discuss all of your specific mobility issues and create a custom design solution with your safety in mind.
We understand that the perfect bathing solution may look different to an elderly person who requires wheelchair access, for example. While others may need a mobility shower that is only different to a traditional shower in its anti-slip flooring.
However, we can entirely transform your bathroom space using an array of safety features as finishing touches. This can include safety grab bars, level access shower trays, adjustable shower heads, and more. All this can be seen in your free 3D bathroom design before you agree to make a payment.

FAQs
The cost of a wet room depends on several factors including the size of the room, the products selected and any additional adaptations required. At Assisted Living, our professionally installed wet room packages start from £9,950 and include a free home survey, personalised design service and expert installation. During your free consultation, we’ll discuss your requirements and provide a fixed quotation tailored to your needs.
Yes. Wet rooms are one of the most popular bathroom solutions for those with having considerable mobility difficulties or just those in later life, because they provide easy access without the need to step over a bath or shower tray. Features such as level-access showering, grab rails, shower seating and slip-resistant flooring can help improve safety, comfort and independence. Every wet room we install is individually designed around the user’s specific requirements.
Absolutely. Wet rooms are often an ideal solution for wheelchair users because they provide a completely level-access showering area with no raised tray or step. Depending on your needs, we can incorporate wheelchair turning space, fold-down shower seats, grab rails and other accessibility features to create a practical and comfortable bathroom environment.
Yes. Wet rooms can often work particularly well in smaller bathrooms because they make the most of the available space. By removing bulky enclosures and creating a level-access shower area, a wet room can make a compact bathroom feel larger, more open and easier to use. During your free home survey, we’ll assess your bathroom and recommend the most suitable layout.
Yes. Many of our customers choose a wet room because they receive support from a spouse, family member or caregiver. A wet room can provide additional space and easier access, making assisted showering more comfortable and practical for everyone involved. We can also incorporate features such as grab rails, shower seats and carefully planned layouts to suit your individual requirements.
The duration of a wet room installation will depend on the size of the bathroom and the work involved. Most installations are completed within one to two weeks. Before any work begins, we’ll provide a clear installation schedule so you know exactly what to expect. Our experienced installers work efficiently to minimise disruption and always treat your home with respect.
Many customers find wet rooms easier to clean because there are fewer hard-to-reach areas where dirt, mould and limescale can build up. Easy-clean wall panels, open-plan layouts and modern fixtures can help reduce maintenance while keeping your bathroom looking fresh and hygienic. This makes wet rooms a practical choice for those looking for a low-maintenance bathroom solution.
Yes. Wet rooms can usually be installed on both ground and upper floors. Modern waterproofing systems and specialist installation methods allow wet rooms to be fitted in most properties. During your free home survey, we’ll assess your existing bathroom and discuss the most suitable options for your home and requirements.
